Most of you probably do not know that I have worked as a full time dental assistant for the last four years! I personally have always loved going to the dentist and luckily I have still never had a cavity I have never even needed braces. So I guess you could say I lucked out with teeth genetics haha! Since high school I knew that I belonged in the dental field because I am so passionate about helping people feel confident about there smile. In a dental office we use something called alginate to take impressions (if you have had braces you know what I am talking about) most people hate it so taking impressions of peoples teeth at work can be challenging much less trying to take impressions of my own teeth.
Smile Brilliant uses a putty like material (pictured above) which is SO easy to use! The instructions are very details and easy to follow when it comes to taking your own impressions. So I mailed my impressions off and the wait began!
The custom fitted teeth whitening trays were delivered and fit perfectly when I got them, honestly I was so impressed! I have always had pretty white teeth, but I had bleaching trays made about eight years ago and eventually they didn't fit anymore so I haven't bleached my teeth since then. With bleaching your teeth they usually get sensitive after the first few uses and that is honestly pretty normal. Thankfully Smile Brilliant offers a desensitizing gel to help prevent your teeth from getting sensitive while bleaching which is amazing! I have always thought that I have very white teeth, but little did I know, they could be even whiter and brighter.
