Galentine's Day Party

 I love Valentines Day....but I think I love Galentine's Day more! If you don't know what Galentine's Days is..it's basically Valentines Day for you and your besties!! Which I think is the BEST thing EVER! Whether you're single or not a Galentines party is defiantly such a fun idea! Just invite all of your best girl friends, make some pretty drinks, and of course grab some sweets to eat. I don't know about you but I don't need much convincing when thinking about throwing a little party for me and my girls :) Get ready for a night full of laughs and love!

Lauren (laurenfontenotphoto) and I decided to put together a styled shoot on how to host your very own Galentines party.  (It was SO much fun shooting these)

A huge shout out to Lauren for letting me pose in her beautiful kitchen! 

For drinks I found the easiest Strawberry Sangria recipe and it is so yummy!

All you need is one bottle of pink moscoto wine.

Half a cup of strawberry vodka. 

Mix those two together and refrigerate until ready to serve.

When you're ready to serve your pretty pink drink just add two cups of lemon-lime soda and strawberries! Super easy to make and your besties will love it! Then I got some delicious cupcakes from a local bakery (SweetChicCupcakes)! If you are ever in the area be sure to check them out! SO YUMMY :) The rest of the decorations came from Target. 

So now lets talk about my outfit. I am loving this super simple white dress from Lulus! It comes in nine colors, and is so comfortable. This white dress has become such a staple in my closet! I've been thinking about buying it in more colors hehe. 

My heels are Gianni-Bini and I am so in love with these shoes....wow! They added the perfect pop of pink to my Galentine's Day outfit!  Next I added this BEAUTIFUL statement necklace from Francesca's! I really think that the necklace makes this entire outfit come together just perfectly. This look is also perfect for Valentines Day with your hubby or boyfriend. I love how feminine and simple this look turned out!
