I am getting my mom a unique watch from Jord because my mom is ALWAYS running late. I know I can't be the only girl out there with a mom who made her late to everything growing up. I seriously got detention in middle school for being late it was that bad! We laugh histarically about it now but still not much has changed. She is still always late so this watch will make such a unique mothers day gift but it's also so fitting for her :)
I truly love mothers day so much, just a day to celebrate mothers and all that they do for us so willingly. My mom is so amazing and I am so thankful for her and all of the lessons she has taught me. Growing up, on mothers day me and my dad would cook my mom breakfast in bed and I swear she loved that more than any gift we could have gotten her. With my mom its the simple things that she loves the most. She is strong, loud, caring, beautiful, neat, loving, happy, and fun. She is the glue that holds my family together and she does it so effortlessly. She inspires me and pushes me to chase my dreams even if she thinks they are crazy. She does not understand my obsession with fashion and makeup, but she tries so hard to. Sometimes she jokes that I'm not her daughter because of how girly I am. Then some days we laugh at how a like we are...total clean freaks and we overpack like crazy people. Every time I catch myself doing something or thinking the same way my mom does I can't help but smile, because I wouldn't want to be like anyone but her. She's not perfect but she is perfect to me...in every way. Wow I'm tearing up right now. There is truly nothing like a mothers love, and I will never stop needing her love.
So cheers to the moms who make motherhood look so easy, you deserve to be celebrated and we can only hope when our time comes to become a mom, we are half as awesome as you!
